I live in Boulder, Colorado with my husband, two kids, three shelter/rescue dogs and two cats. I find nothing more pleasing than to sit in my living room and see deer, wild turkey and the occasional bobcat stroll by. I’m a devotee of Smartwool socks, locally made Upstart kombucha and all words. Koi creep me out, I don’t know why.

I started writing as a child in the form of journaling. Gradually my writing turned to capturing family stories and personal narrative/memoir.
